Sheffield South East VI Form students were invited to apply to become Senior Ambassadors this term.
Applicants were shortlisted with successful candidates being invited to deliver a presentation and participate in a short interview. The panel were delighted with the way students prepared for and delivered their presentations – their ambition and passions for the role of Senior Ambassador shone through.
After much deliberation, Mariam Dukureh was invited to take up the role. An exciting opportunity to develop her leadership skills and be a strong role model for VI Form.
Mariam will be supported in her role by three deputies: Demi Dagnall, Artea Llukacej and Maryam Muna.
All four students will represent the VI Form and wider academy at a varied range of events such as parents evenings and visits. They will also lead on the canvassing and promotion of a number of whole school projects.
