Mrs Peagram – Assistant Principal - Director of VI Form
I attended secondary school in Doncaster before training to be a qualified teacher of dance in London. Further down the line, alongside dance teaching, I studied Social Policy and Sociology at degree level and achieved a BA (Hons) and then a PGCE in Secondary IT.
I have been a teacher for 37 years and 20 years in a secondary setting and I began my Sheffield Park Academy journey in 2016.
I still enjoy dance, adjudicate competitions on occasion and go to see as many shows as I can, but I thoroughly enjoy teaching Social Science, it is so rewarding to see students each year go onto University as a result of the grades they have achieved in Social Science.
Mr A Nasim - Head of Year 12
After graduating from the University of Nottingham with a degree in Multimedia Production, I then completed a PGCE course at Sheffield Hallam University. I’ve been at Sheffield Park Academy for 11 years and started my role as Assistant Head of VI Form in 2015.
I am responsible for attendance, punctuality and standards across VI Form. I also teach IT & Computer Science across all curriculum levels, and I’m very proud to be part of our students’ journey to success.
Miss Sherratt - Head of Year 13
After completing my BSc (hons) in sports coaching at Leeds Becket University in 2011 , I decided to take a few years off my own education to gain experience in teaching in a private school in St Albans. I then went on to complete my PGCE in 2015, Sheffield Park Academy was my first appointment after qualifying as a teacher. I first started at Sheffield Park Academy as a teacher of PE, I now teach across the PE and Health and Social Care departments.
After my appointment to the VI form team, my role is to support year 13 through their final year here, to achieve their goals and to move onto their next destinations.
Miss Buckley – Careers Lead
I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education and have worked in two schools working my way up in leadership positions from Head of Year to Director of Sixth Form and finally Assistant Headteacher of Sport and Personal Development. I have not only built my skills set but developed my knowledge of school systems. Since having a family of my own, I have pursued a career change to suit my own personal circumstances.
I completed my L6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development whilst I was the Director of Sixth Form, so I bring a vast array of expertise to help guide and advise students with future pathways. Additionally, I have a thorough understanding of the UCAS process and can support students with their choices and creating personal statements.
