Our Vision

Our vision is to develop our students into Sheffield's influential young leaders of tomorrow

We will do this by:

  • Ensuring high quality lessons are delivered in all subjects
  • Preparing students for the real world and work life, whether that be during university studies or after
  • Providing you with bespoke careers and guidance
  • Providing opportunities for external visits and experiences
  • Having high ambitions for you so you can be the best you can

We are the only VI Form in Sheffield South East to offer academic subjects at Level 3 in addition to vocational qualifications. Pathways are personalised to our students and they can study A Levels, vocational courses or a combination of both. Individual advice and guidance are provided by the VI Form team to ensure every student is on the best possible pathway for future success.

We believe our students leave Sheffield South East VI Form not only ready for the academic challenges that lie ahead, but with the skills and attributes to become active citizens and confident leaders of the future.

What our students say...

Megane - Year 13 Student

Sheffield South East Sixth Form is a family; the teachers and students alike support one another.

Tamzin - Year 13 Student

I came to Sheffield South East VI Form because I had already attended Sheffield Park Academy for 5 years and knew that I was going to get the appropriate support and guidance up until year 13. Being at Park has inspired me to get involved in various volunteering opportunities which resulted in a solid foundation for my personal statement when applying to university. Attending Sheffield South East VI Form was fun and helped me develop my independence and confidence through the role of being a VI Form Ambassador.

Curtis - Year 12 Student

One aspect that truly sets Sheffield South East VI Form apart is its emphasis on holistic development. The opportunities for personal growth and community engagement were abundant. Inspired by my time at Park, I eagerly participated in volunteering programs. These experiences not only enriched my personal statement for university applications but also instilled in me a sense of social responsibility and empathy.

Freddie - Year 12 Student

Beyond the academic realm, Sheffield South East VI Form provided numerous extracurricular activities and clubs that catered to a wide range of interests. Whether it was joining the debating society, participating in sports teams, or engaging in creative arts, there was something for everyone. These opportunities allowed me to explore my passions, develop new skills, and create unforgettable memories.
